Enjoy the wonderful outdoors on the Wadden Sea
For the true lovers of braving water, those who want to feel the wind through their hair and the warm sun on their face, sailing is an experience you must have experienced. Let Solar Wind’s group tours capture your heart so you can’t wait for the next trip!
Enjoy a day out to a Wadden Island with a delicious lunch or buffet. Prefer to travel longer? Then choose a whole weekend, midweek or whole week, for example!
Day package
Step aboard the Passaat or the Aldebaran and take a day trip on the Wadden Sea. The day package can take place with the registration of a minimum of 20 passengers.
09:00 – Welcome from the crew and a short instruction on deck. If you wish you may assist the crew during sailing.
09:30 – The ship departs and sets sail for the Wadden Sea. During the day, coffee with orange cake and lunch will be served on board.
14:00 – The ship is slowly sailing towards Harlingen again.
15:00 – The bar is open from now on. You can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or a glass of water here.
18:00 – The ship docks in Harlingen.
Afternoon Package
Prefer an afternoon full of fresh wind? During the afternoon package you can choose a beautiful trip with option for a short stop at the Wadden Center on the afsluitdijk.
12:00 – With a delicious cup of coffee or tea and a snack, we will start the trip. The skipper talks about the ins and outs of the ship and will further explain the program of the afternoon. Together we raise the sails and set sail.
13:00 – After departure, the cook will serve a tasty lunch of local produce, consisting of three soft rolls with cheese-meat spreads, tuna salad, garnishes, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, milk and buttermilk.
15:30 – In the afternoon, we serve a borrel garnish from the tray. Here you will find tasty small bites such as cheese, artisanal butcher’s grill sausage, olives and nuts
17:00 – At 17:00 the sailing trip is over and the Aldebaran will anchor in a sheltered place. You can then enjoy a delicious buffet.
19:00 – Around early evening, we will sail into the harbor over a cup of coffee and tea and conclude the sailing trip together!
The Aldebaran
Explore the Wadden Sea with the Aldebaran, this fast sailor in traditional style is the perfect Clipper for an experience to remember. With its two-person and four-person cabins with private bathrooms, there is plenty of room for everyone. In addition, the deck seating area provides the perfect place to sunbathe while exploring.
The Passaat
Historic clipper the Passaat, with its blend of modern amenities and Historic style, is the perfect ship for any voyage. With room for 28 people, there is plenty of room for everyone. In addition, our experienced crew will ensure a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere so all you have to do is enjoy yourself.
