The sailing trip of a lifetime
The sails are hoisted, the anchor is lifted. Let the journey begin, it is time to sail the Wadden Sea! As soon as you sail out of the harbor, you feel the wind through your hair and a sense of freedom. You leave everything behind for a while and you are only concerned with enjoying yourself. It will amaze you that the world looks very different from the water, it is almost enchanting! For a week you will enjoy adventure and the beautiful flora and fauna you will discover along the way. On board it is all about fun, because you are all in the same boat. Great food, laughter, unwind and explore the islands. Isn’t that fantastic?
Based on your wishes and the state of it, your itinerary will be tailor-made so it is possible to explore the IJsselmeer or Waddenzee together for a weekend, midweek or a whole week. Would you like to spend an evening falling dry on the mud flats or would you rather explore the hotspots of West-Friesland?
Choose a carefree stay and let Zonnewind provide the catering, or choose to cook for yourself in the spacious galley. A customized trip is possible for every group.
The Aldebaran
Explore the Wadden Sea with the Aldebaran, this fast sailor in traditional style is the perfect Clipper for an experience to remember. With its two-person and four-person cabins with private bathrooms, there is plenty of room for everyone. In addition, the deck seating area provides the perfect place to sunbathe while exploring.
A week of enjoyment
The sailing week can be booked throughout the season (from March through October). The sailing week starts on a day of your choice and lasts seven full days. From 10:00 am you are welcome on board and after everyone is settled, the skipper will start planning the sailing week. During the sailing week you will explore the islands of Texel, Terschelling, Vlieland and Ameland. The special thing about the sailing week is that you also experience how the dry fall is done. You can then walk for miles over the mudflats and with bright weather swimming is also possible!
