Sailing weekend full of nature and experience
Fancy a special weekend away? Step aboard the Aldebaran and get carried away on the water, past sandbanks, birds and the rhythm of ebb and flow. During this sailing weekend you will experience the Wadden area up close with an overnight stay on board. The wind sets the course, you just have to enjoy.
Based on your wishes and the state of it, your itinerary will be tailor-made so it is possible to explore the IJsselmeer or Waddenzee together for a weekend, midweek or a whole week. Would you like to spend an evening falling dry on the mud flats or would you rather explore the hotspots of West-Friesland?
Choose a carefree stay and let Zonnewind provide the catering, or choose to cook for yourself in the spacious galley. A customized trip is possible for every group.
The Aldebaran
Explore the Wadden Sea with the Aldebaran, this fast sailor in traditional style is the perfect Clipper for an experience to remember. With its two-person and four-person cabins with private bathrooms, there is plenty of room for everyone. In addition, the deck seating area provides the perfect place to sunbathe while exploring.
The tour
At 9 p.m. you will be expected on board at the Nieuwe Willemshaven in Harlingen. Friday evening is embarkation and the crew will inform you about the sailing plans. Saturday after breakfast, the ship sails out into the Wadden Sea towards the Wadden Island you have chosen together with the group. The rest of the day you are free to explore the island. In the evening you are expected on board for dinner and overnight. On Sunday, after breakfast, the ship departs again for Harlingen. During the afternoon the ship will moor in the Nieuwe Willemshaven.
